Through academic excellence, intentional character development, and strong partnerships with families and the community, we equip children to discover their God-given potential, serve others, and become Legacy Builders who leave things better than they found them.
Building upon the foundation established by Frederick Douglass Christian School in 1995, the Academy represents the next chapter of a mission dedicated to expanding educational opportunity for children and families in Chester. Inspired by the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Herbert H. Lusk, II, we continue that mission by preparing students to lead lives of faith, purpose, compassion, and lasting impact.
The Herb Lusk Christian Leadership Academy is more than a new name; it is a renewed commitment to nurturing the whole child and preparing the next generation to strengthen their communities and create opportunities for others.
